A Legacy to Honor
This install was not just about placing furniture. It was about honoring legacy while introducing modern functionality. We needed to do this quietly, efficiently, and without disrupting ongoing operations.
The Assignment
Our task was clear: deliver a full boardroom configuration that balanced elegance and utility.
This involved:
A modular U-shaped table system allowing for large group meetings and easy reconfiguration.
Dozens of guest chairs, upholstered in Penn’s signature deep red.
Careful alignment to preserve spacing, flow, and symmetry across the room.
Every placement mattered. Each piece was carefully accounted for. Every decision reflected the institution's high standards.

The Execution
Executing this project demanded precision. With sensitive flooring, unique architectural detailing, and strict university access protocols, our approach had to be flawless.
Our process consisted of:
Pre-scheduled delivery and staging to minimize disruption.
Professional on-site coordination with Penn’s facilities team.
Quiet, efficient setup that did not compromise speed or precision.
The Transformation
The end result was a transformed space that blended refinement with functionality. It was now ready for the kind of conversations that shape the future of academia.

Why It Matters
At United States Services Installations - USSI, we believe that spaces should reflect the values of the people who use them. Whether it’s a fast-paced tech office or a heritage-rich academic hall, our approach remains consistent:
→ Respect the space → Install with care → Deliver with precision
This installation at Penn was about more than just tables and chairs. It was also about trust. We take pride in being the team they chose to execute their vision.
